Must-Haves:

  • 30 Day or less notice period
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Familiarity with SQL Database
  • Ability to write and execute queries
  • Good understanding of manufacturing process and how it translates to IT/digital
  • Ability to document tasks using MS Planner and spreadsheets
  • Ability to analyze progress on tasks
  • Experience supporting windows operating systems

Pluses:

  • Any Project Management specific experience
  • LAMBDA functions
  • Service Now ticketing system

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a MES Support Engineer to join the global team with one of our largest locomotive/transit manufacturing clients. The team is about to start a large project to implement an in house built MES (manufacturing execution system) at two of their state of the art manufacturing facilities located in India. This is a long project with multiple phases. This resource will be apart of the project all the way through by providing support during the implementation process and then providing L1 + L2 support to the systems post implementation. This is a unique role where the first half of the project will be more functional during the implementation process and then leading towards more technical support post implementation.
