Our Purpose Mastercard powers economies and empowers people in 200 countries and territories worldwide Together with our customers we re helping build a sustainable economy where everyone can prosper We support a wide range of digital payments choices making transactions secure simple smart and accessible Our technology and innovation partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people businesses and governments realize their greatest potential Title and Summary Director Technical Program Management Overview Lead the overall coordination status reporting schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time scope and resource requirements Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes within budget constraints Responsibilities Applies technical capabilities within own discipline to coach and develop junior employees Responsible for planning developing and executing schedules ensuring methodology compliance Identify complex resolutions and help develop solutions to complex problems Regularly communicate to management regarding the status of specific project deliverables and interact with client to set and manage expectations Consults on new products processes standards or plans in support of the business Direct and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools such as the Program and Solution Kanbans and other information radiators Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments PIs Assist in facilitating PI Planning readiness by fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency Assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings including the ART sync at the Program Level Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics where necessary Coach leaders teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets Help identify and mitigate risks and dependencies Escalate and track impediments Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects Engineering Work with Product Management Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment Improve the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps Help drive the Lean User Experience UX innovation cycle Facilitate System Demos Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets information and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and therefore it is expected that every person working for or on behalf of Mastercard is responsible for information security and must Abide by Mastercard s security policies and practices Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed Report any suspected information security violation or breach and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard s guidelines
