Senior Production Supervisor

Job Purpose To oversee and manage daily operations of the plastic injection moulding department ensuring efficient production quality standards machine performance and team management in line with company goals Key Responsibilities Production Supervision Supervise all injection moulding machine operations to meet production targets and deadlines Allocate jobs and assign operators to machines based on the production plan Monitor production schedules part quality and machine cycle times Process Optimization Ensure correct setup and operation of moulding machines molds robots and auxiliary equipment Optimize processing parameters temperature pressure speed etc for efficiency and quality Reduce cycle time and scrap rate through continuous process improvement Quality Assurance Ensure manufactured parts meet quality standards and customer specifications Collaborate with the Quality Control QC team to resolve defects or non-conformities Conduct in-process inspections and ensure proper documentation Team Management Lead train and supervise machine operators setters and helpers Monitor staff performance attendance and discipline Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations Machine Tool Maintenance Coordinate with maintenance for routine and breakdown maintenance of machines and molds Ensure mold changes are done safely and efficiently Maintain moulding logbooks and shift reports Documentation Reporting Maintain daily production reports shift handovers and downtime logs Monitor raw material usage and report shortages or issues Implement 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles in the shopfloor Qualifications Diploma ITI Degree in Mechanical Plastics or Industrial Engineering preferred Training in injection moulding processing e g RJG Scientific Molding etc is a plus Skills Competencies Technical Deep knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and troubleshooting Familiarity with moulding machines e g Haitian Engel Nissei Arburg robots dryers chillers and auxiliary equipment Understanding of mould setup mold maintenance and process parameter settings Managerial Leadership and team management Production planning and time management Problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience 5 years of experience in plastic injection moulding operations At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role Working Conditions Factory shop floor environment Shift-based work may include nights weekends holidays Physically active role - may require standing for long periods lifting and working in high-temperature areas Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Work Location In person
