amazing companies that help feed the world provide life-saving medicine on a global scale and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better We welcome all makers forward thinkers and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work And if that s you we would love to have you join us SUMMARY Your work will involve direct interactions with internal and external customers for full Product life cycle support As a Senior Quality Engineer you will implement preventive quality actions to build quality into product and process designs will develop evaluate revise and apply technical product quality protocols methods to support field complaint problem solving cause failure part analysis Continuation engineering projects and continuous improvements You will be part of a matrixed and environment You will report to the Team Lead Product Quality You will work in Onsite work mode based in our Chennai plant in Kancheepuram India Your Responsibilities Product Process Design and DevelopmentVerify that customer requirements are embedded into product process solution design Voice of the Customer Warranty and Metrics analysis to identify opportunities to reduce COPQ Year over Year Develop product quality plans Support Failure mode and effect analysis and control plans by following templates and guidelines Includes inspection criteria process validation and test data collection and reporting strategy Embed Quality verifications into process design and development stages by applying templates and guidelines including assessing quality and volume capability Support conduct product and process validation pilot applying templates and guidelines Participate in feedback assessment and corrective action activities closed loop Product TestingVerify that risk-based elements are incorporated into test procedures and strategy Verify test results have been evaluated Support assessment activity and verify that the quality anomaly process is implemented Drive ensure and or monitor corrective and preventive actions ensuring the team is learning from the issue and that the learning is considered in future design Customer Issue ManagementUnderstand product functionality and root cause analysis process Lead issue to resolution cycles and guide field action includes turnaround time cause follow-up communicate lessons learned Define and monitor corrective and preventive action closed loop Risk and ComplianceEnsure a risk mitigation plan is in place when material risks are identified Perform regular Quality audits prepare reports and corrective action requests and follow-up Analytics and Data ManagementMonitor dashboards metrics and KPIs and data validation Identify opportunities to automate QA QC processes applying technology and data capabilities The Essentials - You Will Have Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Automation Engineering or equivalent Five years quality engineering experience in industrial area Testing or product development experience Experience of automation products application Be able to use a variety of quality engineering analytical tools such as Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving techniques such as 8 Disciplines 8D to assure the early identification of cause and preventive solution of potential problems with current and new products solutions applications and reliability Be able to work within a matrix organisation on a global base The Preferred -
