Position Overview A Sales/Marketing Executive is responsible for driving business growth through customer acquisition, brand promotion, and market expansion. This role combines strategic marketing planning with direct sales execution to ensure the organization’s products or services reach the target market effectively. The executive is expected to identify new business opportunities, develop marketing campaigns, meet sales targets, and build lasting relationships with customers and partners. The role demands strong communication skills, creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure. A successful Sales/Marketing Executive is self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of adapting to rapidly changing market conditions.Key Responsibilities1. Sales Responsibilities Lead Generation and Prospecting Identify potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, networking events, and referrals. Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and track progress using CRM tools or spreadsheets. Client Meetings and Presentations Conduct client visits and virtual meetings to understand customer needs and demonstrate product or service offerings. Deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to specific client requirements. Negotiation and Deal Closure Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close sales deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Sales Target Achievement Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the organization. Report on sales progress, pipeline status, and challenges faced. Post-Sales Follow-Up Coordinate with customer support and delivery teams to ensure timely service. Collect feedback, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships with clients.2. Marketing Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine sales and marketing strategies. Conduct surveys and gather customer feedback to improve product offerings and marketing messages. Campaign Development Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and digital marketing teams to create brochures, social media posts, emailers, and advertisements. Brand Promotion Represent the brand at trade shows, conferences, and public events. Distribute promotional materials and create brand awareness among target audiences. Digital Marketing Support Assist in SEO/SEM, social media marketing, Google Ads, email campaigns, and website updates. Monitor online analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and generate leads.3. Relationship Management Customer Relationship Management Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients to promote customer retention and repeat business. Conduct regular check-ins to understand client needs and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Channel Partner Management Collaborate with dealers, resellers, and distribution partners to boost reach and sales performance. Provide product training and marketing support to channel partners.4. Reporting and Coordination Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales calls, client interactions, meetings, and sales performance in the CRM or reporting system. Prepare and submit regular sales and marketing reports to management.
