Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious, result-driven, and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, developing growth strategies, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a combination of market research, client acquisition, strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills. The BDM will work closely with the sales, marketing, and management teams to expand business operations and strengthen market presence. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Growth Strategy Identify potential business opportunities by analyzing market trends, industry developments, and competitor strategies. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Explore new markets, segments, and industries to expand the company’s reach. Build strong sales pipelines to ensure consistent business flow. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, events, and digital platforms. Meet with potential clients to understand their requirements and propose relevant solutions. Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, queries, and negotiations. 3. Sales & Revenue Generation Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients to maximize profitability. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services. 4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry demands. Analyze competitors’ products, pricing, and positioning to develop competitive strategies. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and business models relevant to the industry. 5. Team Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, presentations, and proposals. Collaborate with the operations and product teams to ensure client satisfaction. Mentor and guide junior business development executives where required. Participate in regular meetings with management to share insights, progress, and strategies. 6. Reporting & Documentation Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports. Maintain proper documentation of client communications, agreements, and deals. Present periodic reports to the senior management team on business performance and opportunities. Required Skills & Competencies Technical / Professional Skills: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, lead generation, and deal negotiation. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and online business platforms. Understanding of market dynamics, financial metrics, and business models. Core Competencies: Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing long-term growth strategies. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Negotiation & Persuasion: Skilled in handling objections and closing high-value deals.
