Position Overview
The Regional Product Manager (RPM) – Passive Networking will be responsible for driving business growth, market penetration, and product adoption for the Passive Networking portfolio in the assigned region. This role requires a strong combination of product expertise, business acumen, and market development skills to support sales teams, engage with partners, and deliver strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the regional product strategy for the Passive Networking portfolio (e.g., structured cabling, racks, patch panels, accessories, ODFs, fiber components).
Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor movements, and growth opportunities.
Support the creation of pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional plans in alignment with business objectives.
2. Sales Enablement
Work closely with regional sales teams to provide product training, technical support, and competitive positioning.
Support pre-sales engagements by providing solution design inputs and product presentations to clients.
Develop and deliver sales tools, datasheets, and product comparisons for the field teams.
3. Channel & Partner Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, and key accounts in the region.
Drive product demand through partner engagement, joint marketing campaigns, and incentives.
Track partner performance and ensure alignment with business growth targets.
4. Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in enterprise, government, telecom, and data center segments.
Collaborate with the marketing team to organize roadshows, webinars, and customer events.
Participate in bid/tender processes by providing technical specifications, compliance documents, and product certifications.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor sales performance, product adoption rates, and market share in the assigned region.
Provide monthly business updates, forecasts, and competitive intelligence to the leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field (MBA preferred).
5–8 years of experience in Product Management, Pre-Sales, or Sales in Passive Networking or Structured Cabling industry.
Strong knowledge of passive networking products, standards, and installation practices.
Proven track record of achieving sales/product growth in a regional role.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the region.
