- Lathe Operator ITI - Fitter Turner Location Roorkee Uttarakhand Experience 3-4 Years Qualification ITI in Turner Fitter Machinist Work Schedule - Full-time on-site at Roorkee facility Position Overview Looking for a skilled Lathe Operator with hands-on experience in operating Manual Lathe machines for precision machining The candidate will be responsible for turning facing threading grooving and machining custom mechanical parts used in instrumentation assemblies fixtures and engineering components Key Responsibilities oOperate manual lathe machine for precision turning and machining of MS SS Aluminium parts oInterpret technical drawings dimensions tolerances and machining symbols oPrepare and set up tools workpieces and machine parameters oPerform facing drilling threading internal external boring taper turning and part finishing oMeasure and inspect components using Vernier Caliper Micrometer Gauge tools to maintain accuracy oMaintain daily production records machining logs and part quality documentation oCarry out routine maintenance of Lathe machines and ensure safe working conditions oCollaborate with engineering and fabrication teams for prototype and batch production parts oEnsure all components comply with required tolerances and surface finish specifications oFollow ISO quality and safety protocols Required Skills oStrong knowledge of lathe operation cutting parameters tool selection and tool wear oAbility to read mechanical drawings and understand engineering tolerances oProficient in measurement and quality inspection tools oBasic understanding of material properties MS EN8 Stainless Steel Aluminium oAbility to maintain consistent accuracy and surface finish Preferred Attributes oExperience in manufacturing instrumentation parts fixtures couplers threaded rods etc oWillingness to learn advanced machining and production processes oAbility to work independently with minimal supervision Salary Range oAs per industry standards and candidate s skill level You may specify exact CTC if required Email Resume - shilpig hr gmail com Whatsapp at - 9315173463 https www linkedin com in shilpi-goel-56a79b15 Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 21 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
