Job Title Lathe Machine Operator Department Production Machining Location JAGATPUR INDUSTRIAL AREA Experience Minimum 2 Years Reporting To Production Supervisor Plant Incharge Job Summary We are seeking a Lathe Machine Operator with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in operating conventional manual lathes The ideal candidate will be responsible for precise turning operations on various metal components ensuring product quality and machine efficiency as per production requirements Key Responsibilities Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning facing threading boring and tapering operations Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work instructions Select appropriate tools cutting speeds and feed rates for different materials Accurately measure and inspect finished products using micrometers vernier calipers dial indicators and other gauges Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish as per specifications Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of lathe machines to ensure smooth operation Identify and troubleshoot minor issues related to tools machine settings or workpieces Maintain production records and assist in reporting any quality issues Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing procedures on the shop floor Required Qualifications ITI Diploma in Fitter Turner or Machinist trade Minimum 2 years of practical experience operating lathe machines in a manufacturing engineering setup Strong knowledge of machining processes tools and materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of machine maintenance and quality standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive fabrication or precision engineering industries Familiarity with other machines like milling drilling or grinding is an added advantage Willingness to work in shifts if required Employment Type Full-time Compensation based on skill and experience Benefits PF ESI Overtime Pay Canteen applicable Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 18 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Leave encashment Paid time off Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Cuttack Orissa Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Application Question s INTERVIEW DATE Education Diploma Preferred Experience LATHE MACHINE OPERATOR 2 years Required Location Cuttack Orissa Preferred Shift availability Day Shift Required Work Location In person Application Deadline 28 07 2025 Expected Start Date 28 07 2025
