Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, AVEVA MES Engineer
As a AVEVA MES - Engineer, you will be part of Genpact's MES CoE and will lead the AVEVA MES implementation, architecture and design decisions.
Responsibilities
1.Design, build and support AVEVA MES applications for Genpact Customers
2.Design, implement and support product features in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders
3.Clean, prepare and optimize data for ingestion and consumption
4.Collaborate on the implementation of new features
5.Build continuous integration, test-driven development and production deployment environments
6.Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
.Experience MES implementation with full lifecycle experience of at least 1 end to end MES implementations.
.Good understanding of MES platforms like AVEVA, GE Proficy, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Siemens etc.
.Strong understanding of shop floor systems, manufacturing data models, and production operations (OEE, traceability, quality, scheduling).
.Proficient in integrating MES/PLM with PLCs, SCADA systems, and ERP (SAP/Oracle).
.Familiarity with standards like OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, SQL databases, and edge computing.
.Strong understanding of data structures, databases
.Strong understanding of solution and technical design
.Has a strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
.Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders
.Able to quickly pick up new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks
.Fair understanding of developing complex data solutions
.Experience working on end-to-end solution design
.Willing to learn new skills and technologies

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Exposure to regulated industries like pharmaceuticals, aerospace, or automotive.
.Experience with MES in on-premise/cloud/hybrid architectures (Azure, AWS).
.hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, data transformation and analytics functions
.Understanding of digital twin, predictive maintenance, and IIoT analytics integration.
