PPC Production Planning and Control Manager HVAC RMPU Company Sphere Thermal Position PPC Production Planning and Control Manager Experience 5 to 10 years Location Gr Noida U P Overview Sphere Thermal is seeking a detail-oriented PPC Production Planning and Control Manager to oversee the production planning scheduling and control of Roof Mounted AC Package Units RMPU for Indian Railways and Metro systems The role involves optimizing production processes ensuring on-time delivery and coordinating between departments to meet production goals Key Responsibilities Production Planning Develop and manage detailed production plans to ensure timely completion of HVAC systems aligned with client demands and project timelines Inventory Management Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of materials maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent delays in production Scheduling Oversee production schedules adjusting workflows and timelines to address any changes in production capacity or demand Coordination Collaborate with the design procurement and production teams to align resources and schedules ensuring smooth execution of the production process Monitoring Reporting Track production progress identify bottlenecks and ensure adherence to production plans Generate daily weekly and monthly reports for senior management Process Improvement Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency reduce lead times and improve quality control processes Compliance Ensure production schedules and operations comply with Indian Railway RDSO ICF and Metro standards for HVAC systems Qualifications Education BE B Tech in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or a related field MBA in Operations or related field is preferred Experience 5-10 years of experience in production planning and control preferably in the HVAC or transportation sectors Skills Strong understanding of production planning tools ERP systems and inventory management principles Desired Skills Proficiency in production scheduling capacity planning and resource allocation Experience with HVAC systems for railway applications including knowledge of RDSO and ICF standards Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills Strong communication and leadership abilities for coordinating cross-functional teams
