What Do We Expect From You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Business Analyst (BA) to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of Fault Monitoring Solutions within telecom environments, with a strong focus on Huawei EMS/NMS platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise across 2G/3G/4G/5G, Transmission, IP, and Core technologies, and will play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements with technical delivery.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end analysis and solutioning for Fault Management across Huawei OSS platforms (e.g., U2000, iManager, M2000, NetEco)
- Define and document business and functional requirements for fault parsing, correlation, and visualization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable FM adapters and integration flows
- Analyze raw alarm data, MIBs, and trap formats across multi-vendor and multi-technology domains
- Drive stakeholder workshops to capture operational pain points and translate them into actionable insights
- Support PoC and production deployments, ensuring alignment with SLA/KPI frameworks
- Validate parsed fault data against Huawei-specific alarm dictionaries and severity mappings
- Provide domain guidance on alarm enrichment, suppression logic, and RCA enablement
- Work closely with automation and AI/ML teams to define closed-loop fault handling use cases
- Maintain traceability of requirements and ensure alignment with customer-specific configurations

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Telecom OSS, with specialization in Fault Management
- Hands-on expertise with Huawei EMS/NMS platforms (U2000, M2000, NetEco, etc.)
- Strong understanding of alarm formats, SNMP traps, syslogs, and XML/CSV-based fault feeds
- Proven experience across technologies: RAN (2G–5G), Transmission (SDH, DWDM), IP/MPLS, Core (CS/PS)
- Familiarity with fault correlation engines, rule-based suppression, and RCA frameworks
- Experience working with Zabbix, NetAct, or other EMS tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to engage with customers, understand operational workflows, and propose tailored solutions
- Exposure to ITIL processes, especially Incident and Problem Management

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science
- Huawei certifications (e.g., HCNA, HCNP) or equivalent vendor credentials
- Experience with AI/ML-based fault prediction or closed-loop automation frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud-native OSS deployments and containerized EMS solutions
