Job Title Business Analyst Experience Level 5 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen business process expertise and excellent communication skills This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions particularly within the Lending Management System LMS domain The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting analyzing documenting and validating business requirements ensuring successful project delivery from conception through to production support Key Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation Analysis Lead and facilitate workshops interviews and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders across various business units to gather and understand complex business requirements Analyze validate and prioritize requirements ensuring they are clear concise unambiguous and traceable Identify and document current as-is and desired to-be business processes identifying opportunities for improvement and automation LMS Expertise Implementation Leverage extensive knowledge of Lending Management Systems LMS with specific proficiency in Pennant LMS and or Finnone LMS to understand system functionalities limitations and configurations Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design documents tailored for LMS platforms Collaborate closely with technical teams developers architects to ensure proposed solutions align with LMS capabilities and architectural guidelines Documentation Design Prepare comprehensive and high-quality documentation including Requirement Documents RD Detail functional and non-functional requirements User Stories Use Cases UD Define system behavior from a user s perspective Process flows data models and screen mock-ups Business Requirement Documents BRD Functional Requirement Specifications FRS SQL Knowledge Data Analysis Utilize strong SQL knowledge to query databases analyze data and support data-driven decision-making Perform data mapping data validation and data reconciliation activities as needed to support system integrations and migrations Assist in identifying data quality issues and proposing solutions Testing Quality Assurance Develop and review test strategies test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements Conduct various types of testing including functional testing integration testing and user acceptance testing UAT Collaborate with QA teams to ensure all defects are tracked reported and resolved in a timely manner Production Support for Change Requests CR s Provide dedicated Production Support for Change Requests CR s acting as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams Analyze troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to CR implementations Manage the lifecycle of CR s from initiation to deployment ensuring minimal disruption to business operations Communicate status updates and resolutions to stakeholders effectively Stakeholder Management Communication Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders technical teams and vendors Facilitate effective communication ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and progress Present findings recommendations and solutions to various audiences including senior management Project Lifecycle Management Support project managers in planning executing and monitoring projects Assist in defining project scope objectives and deliverables Identify and escalate potential risks and issues proposing mitigation strategies Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or a related field 5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst with a significant focus on IT projects Proven hands-on experience with Lending Management Systems LMS specifically Pennant LMS and or Finnone LMS Strong expertise in preparing Requirement Documents RD and User Stories Use Cases UD Proficient in SQL for data querying and analysis Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle SDLC and various methodologies Agile Waterfall Demonstrated experience in various types of Testing functional integration UAT Experience in providing Production Support for Change Requests CR s and managing their lifecycle Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Certifications such as CBAP CCBA or similar are a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Banking Financial Services or Fintech industry
