JD - Mechanical Technician Experience 1-3 years Education Diploma in Mechanical Mechatronics Production Engineering or related field Employment Type Full-time Reports To Operations Head About the Company We founded Sakar Robotics to collapse fragmented point solutions into a single extensible mobile manipulation platform Traditional automation requires bespoke integration per workflow slow to deploy rigid to evolve We built a composable stack where perception autonomy manipulation and orchestration cooperate natively Guided by field feedback across regulated high mix and throughput critical domains we iterate on production reality not lab abstractions building durable leverage for customers Our mission is to deliver a unified robotics platform that can be rapidly configured to execute diverse workflows reducing time to value elevating safety and embedding continuous improvement loops into daily operations Role Summary As a Mechanical Technician - Field Operations you will handle assembly installation testing and maintenance of robotic systems at customer sites You ll ensure smooth field deployments resolve on-site issues and collaborate with engineering teams for continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Assemble install and maintain robotic systems and sub assemblies Conduct testing calibration and troubleshooting at customer sites Collaborate with engineering teams during field integration Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation Support preventive maintenance and improvement activities Must-Have Skills Solid understanding of mechanical assembly and alignment Ability to read mechanical drawings and use common tools Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting and maintenance Familiarity with pneumatic or mechanical motion systems Flexibility to travel for field deployments Good-to-Have Skills Exposure to robotics or industrial automation Knowledge of electrical basics or sensor integration Experience using measurement and testing instruments Understanding of maintenance and service processes Soft Skills Strong communication and coordination Ownership and accountability Problem-solving and proactive approach Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Team collaboration and positive attitude Ready to make an impact Share your resume or even a short note about why you d love to join us at We re excited to meet passionate people who love taking ownership and growing fast
