Technician - Fitter Welder with an ITI certification and a minimum of 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in welding and fitting operations The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling installing and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques and tools Key Responsibilities Perform welding and fitting tasks as per engineering drawings and specifications Operate welding equipment such as MIG TIG ARC and gas welding machines Assemble and install mechanical components and structures Conduct routine maintenance and repair of welding tools and equipment Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and safety standards Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work orders Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to complete projects efficiently Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Qualifications ITI certification in Fitter Welder or equivalent trade Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in welding and fitting Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and welding symbols Strong knowledge of welding techniques materials and safety standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical stamina and attention to detail Preferred Skills Experience in fabrication and structural welding with Assembly dismantling the equipment
