The Experience plus Devices E D Growth team is seeking Group Engineering Manager to help accelerate the adoption of Copilot and Microsoft 365 Our team is uniquely positioned at the strategic epicenter of E D for revolutionizing the productivity business by delivering embedded experiences across the Microsoft 365 suite Teams Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel etc that drive the growth of our company s Manager you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and monetization of Microsoft 365 Copilot through Product-Led Growth methodologies This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond Responsibilities Proven track record of building shipping large scale enterprise software products or highly available and reliable cloud services History of building solid relationships with product management and design at the working team and leadership level Guides partnership with appropriate stakeholders e g project manager technical lead to determine user requirements within and across teams Guides team and leads identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product application service or platform Optimizes debugs refactors and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability effectiveness and return on investment ROI Guides team to drive multiple group s project plans release plans and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders e g project managers Guides team and act as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual DRI and monitors other engineers across product lines working on call to monitor system product service for degradation downtime or interruptions Leads product development and scaling to customer requirements and applies best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and holds accountability for products that do not meet expectations Demonstrated ability to directly manage a team of EMs and SWEs to achieve results strategic thinking and grow careers Experience at many layers of the tech stack native web service UX model data Experience with existing M365 foundational technologies Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor s Degree AND 10 years experience in product service program management or software development OR equivalent experience 3 years people management experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s Degree AND 15 years experience in product service program management or software development OR equivalent experience 5 years people management experience 6 years experience taking a product feature or experience to market e g design addressing product market fit and launch internal tool framework 8 years experience improving product metrics for a product feature or experience in a market e g growing customer base expanding customer usage avoiding customer churn 8 years experience disrupting a market for a product feature or experience e g competitive disruption
