Overview The Experience plus Devices (E+D) Growth team is seeking Group Engineering Manager to help accelerate the adoption of Copilot and Microsoft 365. Our team is uniquely positioned at the strategic epicenter of E+D for revolutionizing the productivity business by delivering embedded experiences across the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) that drive the growth of our company’s cutting-edge generative AI solutions across the commercial and consumer spectrum. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. 3+ years people management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. 5+ years people management experience. 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework). 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn). 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g.,. competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product). #ExDGrowth #IDCMicrosoft Responsibilities Proven track record of building & shipping large scale enterprise software products or highly available and reliable cloud services.  History of building solid relationships with product management and design at the working team and leadership level. Guides partnership with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements within and across teams. Guides team and leads identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform. Optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI). Guides team to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers). Guides team and act as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and monitors other engineers across product lines, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. Leads product development and scaling to customer requirements and applies best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and holds accountability for products that do not meet expectations. Demonstrated ability to directly manage a team of EMs and SWEs to achieve results, strategic thinking, and grow careers.  Experience at many layers of the tech stack (native, web, service, UX, model, data). Experience with existing M365 foundational technologies.
