Job Description Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager (Proposals IPD/EPC)* Location: Ahmedabad Department: Proposals No. of Positions: 2 (EPC / IPD) Preferred Industry: Water Experience: 7 15 years Qualification: B.E. Chemical / Mechanical Gender: Male / Female Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager (Proposals)* to lead proposal development for *IPD/EPC/ETP/Water & Wastewater Treatment projects. The role involves understanding client needs, preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate, competitive, and value-driven solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with strong **EPC project experience*, as this expertise is currently lacking in the team. *Key Responsibilities* *A. Proposal & Technical Responsibilities* * Understand and recognize client requirements from tender documents, including compliance needs. * Prepare *budgetary estimates*, techno-commercial proposals, and value-engineered solutions. * Develop *Mass Balance, prepare datasheets, and study **P&IDs, GA drawings*, and other engineering documents. * Provide technical inputs and support during tendering, bid clarification, and customer discussions. * Ensure *accuracy in costing* and provide effective value propositions. * Create and maintain documentation using bid management and document control tools. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards relevant to water/wastewater treatment. * Interface directly with senior leadership and clients for technical and commercial discussions. * Build and maintain strong connections in the marketplace to support vendor development and techno-commercial understanding. Technical Skills Required* * Strong expertise in *Water & Wastewater Treatment*, including: * Filtration systems * Membrane technologies (UF, RO) * DM plants * Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) * Effluent Recycling Systems (ERS) * Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) * Ability to read and interpret tender specifications quickly. * Strong analytical skills for technical and cost evaluations. * Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and project design standards. * Proficiency in proposal tools, cost estimation techniques, and document management systems. Behavioral Skills Required * Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities. * Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in dynamic environments. * High ethical standards, discipline, and accountability for deliverables. * Good time-management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects. * Adaptability, willingness to learn, and proactive approach to challenges. * Ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
