Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Repair Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in a timely and efficient manner Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns Troubleshooting Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques Implement solutions to prevent recurring problems and improve equipment reliability Installation and Upgrades Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment Recommend and implement upgrades to existing mechanical systems to enhance performance and safety Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work performed parts used and time spent Prepare detailed reports on equipment status maintenance work and any observed issues Safety and Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment Collaboration Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations Collaborate with other engineers and maintenance personnel to develop and implement maintenance strategies Qualifications and Skills Education Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within the steel metal industry Technical Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics pneumatics and conveyor systems Experience with CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is a plus Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required Willingness to work in a physically demanding industrial environment SPEAK WITH EMPLOYER 9054471056 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Experience total work 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
