- Civil construction of a 300 MW Waste-to-Energy Thermal Power Plant one of Africas most prestigious and massive power projects, a first-of-its-kind development set to make history on the continent.
- Operational management of a 40-bus fleet in Vulcan Mines, Tete Province, Mozambique, supporting critical mining logistics.

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to to manage and oversee the financial and accounting functions of our expanding Mozambique operations.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the end-of-the-end accounting cycle including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across Mozambique operations.
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, and project-related costs to ensure profitability and financial discipline.
- Work with project managers and senior management to provide timely financial insights and MIS reporting.
- Oversee internal audit processes, implement financial controls, and ensure corporate governance standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders as required.
- Develop finance team capabilities and ensure accurate daily financial operations.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications (CA/CPA) are preferred.
- 1215 years of proven experience in financial management and accounting roles.
- Prior exposure to African market operations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi and Portuguese is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Worked in a similar or equivalent position in a company with minimum annual turnover of $20Mn.
- Proficiency in preparing reports, financial forecasts, and handling project-level accounting.
