ABOUT DILIGENCEVAULTAt DiligenceVault were making diligence possible for all We have built a technology to streamline the manually intensive diligence process and unlock the data within documents in an industry managing over 100 Trillion in assets We have built a network of over 50 000 platform users at over 12 000 firms in over 110 countries We have experienced a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of increased efficiency and productivity To continue on this trajectory we are looking for exceptional talent from across disciplines and industries to shape the future of due diligence and improve the lives of our clients and users in a meaningful way The firm is backed by Goldman Sachs ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are looking for a driven professional with a strong commitment to excellence business-minded and a self-motivated legal generalist The ideal candidate for this position has excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills As well as attention to detail and experience with legal matters The Legal Operations Associate will work closely with DiligenceVaults leadership team to ensure all legal matters are handled efficiently The candidate must have at least two years of experience in a corporate contracts or in-house legal setting preferably in the tech industry We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the law and our business an innovative problem solver and an astute negotiator In this role you will need to have strong knowledge of contract law privacy laws and the tech industry Additionally you should have a thorough understanding of complex legal principles and be able to advise on risk management You should also have the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines If you have the qualifications and experience we look forward to hearing from you RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE VAULT Collaborate with management to devise efficient legal processes Prepare draft and review various types of contracts including vendor agreements client service agreements NDAs partnership agreements and employment agreements xe2x97x8f Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Oversee governance matters and corporate record-keeping Negotiate contract terms with external parties to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks Liaise with and supervise external counsel for outsourced legal matters Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws regulations and company policies Provide advice to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters risk management and legal obligations Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and legal documentation Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to address and manage them Work closely with other departments including sales finance and HR to ensure contracts align with overall business objectives and strategies Stay updated on industry trends legal developments and regulatory changes that may impact the company REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s degree in law 2-4 years of experience in legal operations corporate contracts or in-house legal setting preferably in the tech industry Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles Knowledge of SaaS contracts a strong plus Experience working in a global company and knowledge of privacy laws and US European laws is a plus Attention to detail and strong analytical and organization skills Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with startup operations WHAT WE OFFER All the latest Tech-Stack you need to succeed Health Medical Reimbursements Wellness Reimbursements Flexible Paid Time Off Policy Working From Home Monthly Internet Allowances Global Offsite Opportunity Buddy Assistant Reward Recognition Powered by JazzHR
