This is a senior leadership role to head end-to-end operations of the Chennai manufacturing unit driving efficiency quality safety and cost optimisation The position requires 15 years of experience in plant operations strong people leadership and proven expertise in continuous improvement and operational excellence Reporting to the Executive Director you will Lead and manage complete plant operations including production maintenance quality supply chain EHS and HR Develop and execute strategies to enhance plant efficiency productivity and cost-effectiveness Drive operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma TPM and other continuous improvement initiatives Oversee adherence to safety quality and sustainability standards across the unit Manage budgets implement cost-reduction initiatives and ensure on-time delivery of products Lead mentor and develop cross-functional teams fostering a culture of performance and accountability Coordinate with corporate leadership vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless operations 15 yrs exp in chemical plant ops with 5 yrs in senior leadership roleProven leader in plant ops driving efficiency quality safety Holds a B E B Tech in Chemical Mechanical Production or related disciplines MBA preferred Brings 15 years of plant operations experience including 5 years in a leadership role Plant Unit Head level Demonstrates strong expertise in production planning cost management EHS and supply chain coordination Adept at leading large teams and driving continuous improvement across functions Excellent communication stakeholder management and decision-making skills Our client is a leading player in the speciality chemicals and coatings industry known for innovation quality and sustainable manufacturing practices With a diverse product portfolio and strong domestic and international presence the company continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand across key markets Strategic leadership role overseeing end-to-end plant operations in a fast-growing manufacturing organisation Opportunity to drive operational transformation and excellence Platform to influence growth and sustainability initiatives within a leading speciality manufacturing business
