Lead Sales Specialist

Summary The Sales and Proposal Manager is responsible for managing services sales and supporting the delivery of the country sales strategy and actions related to the services portfolio including managing channel partners This role involves working closely with the regional sales teams to drive growth and ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives within the sub-region Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve Operating Plan OP targets for the services portfolio Meeting operational quarterly Orders and Growth KPIs by managing pipeline opportunities orders convertible orders and profitability of PT-Service business Provide timely and accurate monthly business forecast and management of Salesforce system Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners Work closely and collaboratively with Key Account Managers Product PSS to leverage build and maintain close customer relationship and sales opportunities Monitor and mapping out market trends and dynamic with aware of competition for key customers in the Eastern Part States of West Bengal Orissa Chattisgarh Bihar Sikkim Arunachal Pradesh Assam Tripura Meghalaya Manipur Mizoram Nagaland and other Neighbouring countries i e Bangladesh and Bhutan for Utility Power generation and Industrial customers and provide timely feedback in order to guide product development promotion price and go-to market strategies Assess opportunity complexity in order to define winning strategy with the input of Account product Managers and PT-SER subregion leader Prepare and submit the of high-quality Commercial proposals and bids along with Techno-commercial proposal in coordination with cross-functional teams Tendering Engineering and Commercial operation team to gather necessary information Ensure contract review process adherence to all Government industrial Contracting requirement with support from Commercial operation team and minimum support from GE Legal resources Enforce order-booking requirement and ensure proper contract hand over to OTR team Ensure proposals are compliant with customer requirements GE Vernova company policies 5 0 and its RAM approval process Managing supporting and motivating Channel Partner development where needed in achieving annual sales target Review key initiatives to increase channels effectiveness and where necessary conduct co-ordinate product training and application support to channel partner Required Qualification Bachelor s degree in electrical mechanical engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years successful track record and experience in Sales and Proposal Management in High Voltage Grid Products and or in Services GIS AIS GCB Power Transformers Strong understanding of business processes and acumen with ability to demonstrate market dynamics and trends in Zone East of India Region Has strong interpersonal skills strong technical background and ability to think and propose different solutions outside of set parameter to address customer problem Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across global landscape in a matrixed environment to achieve best outcome Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 Proficiency in CRM Salesforce software and Microsoft Office Suite Desired Characteristic Innovative open minded and time organized Customer Focus result orientation and Adaptability mindset Experience within the Turnkey and Transactional Services Business Experience managing medium complex deals with multi-functional interaction Excellent Commercial and Techno-Commercial writing and contract reading Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills and positive attitude Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work through difficult situations Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided Yes
