Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Pune for a Desktop Publishing Operator. The Desktop Publishing Operator will be responsible for creating layouts, editing, and formatting documents for print and digital publication. Day-to-day tasks will include using desktop publishing software, preparing documents for printing, and incorporating graphics and pre-press tasks. Collaboration with the design and editorial team to ensure high-quality production is also essential.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Desktop Publishing and Typing
- Experience with Printing processes
- Familiarity with Graphics incorporation and editing
- Knowledge of Pre-press preparation and techniques
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Experience in the technology or publishing industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field

Skill Set - Strong expertise in desktop publishing software and tools: Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign CorelDRAW Adobe Acrobat Professional MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for layout adjustments Hands-on experience with multilingual DTP projects (Arabic, Indic, CJK, RTL, LTR scripts). Good understanding of multilingual font handling (Unicode, special characters, RTL languages). Knowledge of printing standards, resolution, and color management (RGB/CMYK). Strong eye for detail with ability to spot formatting and layout inconsistencies quickly. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
