Comcast brings together the best in media and technology We drive innovation to create the world s best entertainment and online experiences As a Fortune 50 leader we set the pace in a variety of innovative and fascinating businesses and create career opportunities across a wide range of locations and disciplines We are at the forefront of change and move at an amazing pace thanks to our remarkable people who bring cutting-edge products and services to life for millions of customers every day If you share in our passion for teamwork our vision to revolutionize industries and our goal to lead the future in media and technology we want you to fast-forward your career at Comcast Job Summary The Executive Director Comcast India Engineering Center CIEC is a senior leader within Comcast Business Information Technology BIT the organization responsible for mission-critical telecommunications and enabling seamless integration across millions of connected devices to powers the core operations of businesses nationally This leader is responsible for providing strategic leadership and executive oversight of the cross-functional engineering teams based in India If you re a visionary leader with a passion for performance transformation and customer success this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact In this role the Executive Director will contribute to the overall BIT business and technology strategy lead delivery execution and provide local leadership across multiple engineering teams Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of BIT in the U S the Executive Director will serve as the most senior BIT executive in India This position is designed to scale BIT delivery capability strengthen cross-regional collaboration grow regional technical talent and ensure that the CIEC organization operates in tight alignment with BIT global goals culture and engineering standards The Executive Director will also work closely with other Comcast technology leaders in CIEC to foster collaboration share best practices and contribute to a unified high-performing engineering culture across India Core Responsibilities Lead the growth performance and cultural development of CXIT s engineering teams based in CIEC ensuring they are aligned to Comcast s vision CXIT s mission and evolving business needs Lead Software Development and Engineering teams in the development and maintenance of software and web applications Provide continued support for existing applications and applications in development Partner with US Leaders across CXIT to define and maintain a global workforce strategy Create and drive organizational development and strategies Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of technical and leadership talent Partner with U S domain leaders and platform owners to align roadmaps manage releases and support change management across global teams Build collaborative relationships with other Comcast technology teams operating in CIEC to foster knowledge sharing engineering best practices and workforce synergy Communicate and establish relationships with vendors and other functional areas of the business Provide leadership and direction to department personnel for management and non-exempt employees Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular consistent and punctual attendance Must be able to work nights and weekends variable schedule s and overtime as necessary Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Employees at all levels are expected to Understand our Operating Principles make them the guidelines for how you do your job Own the customer experience -
