We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team, covering the South Carolina territory. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and providing technical solutions for material processing equipment including crushers, conveyors, screens, and related machinery. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of heavy equipment and material processing operations, combined with strong interpersonal and sales skills. Travel throughout the region is required to meet with clients, conduct site visits, and support equipment demonstrations. Responsibilities - Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers in the material processing industry. - Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions to improve operational efficiency. - Conduct on-site visits to evaluate applications and provide technical guidance on equipment selection and configuration. - Collaborate with internal teams, including service technicians and admin to ensure customer satisfaction and support. - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy. - Attend industry events, trade shows, and training sessions to stay current on product offerings and industry developments. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus. - Proven experience in equipment sales, preferably in material processing, construction, or heavy machinery. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Willingness to travel extensively within South Carolina. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Physical Requirements - Ability to conduct site visits in industrial and outdoor environments. - Comfortable around heavy machinery and capable of climbing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
