This exciting project leverages our proprietary database of micro, macro, and pricing data to provide investors with real-time contextualized news and analysis. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end services. - Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews. - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Ensure application performance, security, and scalability best practices are followed. - Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth system operations. - Maintain proper documentation of code, APIs, and architectural decisions. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes. - Architect, design, develop, and maintain our innovative web application using modern full-stack technologies. - Lead and mentor a small, agile development team. - Integrate with our existing database of micro, macro, and pricing data, including real-time feeds from many sources (e.g., company filings, press releases, NASDAQ, Federal Reserve, BEA, OMB, BLS, etc.). - Develop robust APIs for data retrieval and presentation. - Implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces to deliver a seamless user experience. - Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the platform. - Collaborate with product manager and other stakeholders to define product roadmap and prioritize features. - Champion best practices for software development, including testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment. Requirements: - 3-4 years of experience in software development with expertise in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. - Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks. - Knowledge of database schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization in PostgreSQL. - Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and component-based architecture. - Strong understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. - Proven experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of web application architecture and development. - Expertise in relevant front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java). - Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). - Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). - Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. - A passion for financial markets and investment analysis is a plus.
