Position Description Business Division R D Department EHS Location Udaipur Position Title Team Member - WPS Level E2-E4 Reporting to Title Team Leader -Workplace Safety Position Purpose The position will be responsible for Develop Safety Management System procedures in line with site requirement Monitor implementation of the above system and procedures at shop floor level Conduct site inspection round and identify unsafe practices condition and suggest closure action Conduct Site Risk assessment of the job and issue work permit for critical jobs including tool box talk Conduct Job safety Analysis along with line function for critical jobs Control the contractor s activities for safe execution Prepare MIS reports for circulation tracking Strategic Responsibilities Develop safety management system procedures in line with site requirement Imparting safety awareness training down the line Conduct job safety analysis along with line function for critical jobs Monitor the effectiveness implementation of CAPA Operational Responsibilities Conduct site inspection round and identify unsafe practices condition and suggest closure action Partipate in Incident Investigation through use various tools to reach to the Root cause and suggest recommendations to avoid recurrence Monitor implementation of the above system and procedures at shop floor level Conduct Site Risk assessment of the job and issue work permit for critical jobs including tool box talk Control the contractor s activities for safe execution Support ISO 14001 ISO 45001 activities in terms of documentation requirement and implementation Financial Responsibilities To ensure that all operations are pertained in a cost effective manner To ensure that budget allocation is adhered Knowledge of various types of Personal Protective Equipments and application People Responsibilities Ensure in smooth functioning all the activities with to maintain high morale of the workforce Continuously improve processes to ensure quality and efficiency in routine task Education Qualification B Tech or Diploma in Engineering Diploma in Industrial safety recognized by AICTE or Board of council for Technical Education of any State is mandatory Work Experience Minimum 5-7 years experience Industry to be Hired from Chemical Pesticides Petrochemical allied Industries in EHS role Functional Competencies Proficient computer skills including MS applications i e Excel PowerPoint Word Access documentation and data analysis Interaction Complexity and Team Work Interaction Frequency Purpose of Interaction Internal Head WPS Lead EHS Peers in other functions Daily Discuss Technical administrative and system related issues External Legal authorities Vendors As when required for the business Legal issues Safety appliances
