Job description:Site Engineer Duties:Lead site engineering activities from initial planning stages through contract completionDevelop engineering plans for construction, renovation, and repairsEnsure compliance with government codesPrepare estimates, as well as on-site visit reports and project progress reportsReview and analyze plans, specifications, and estimates submitted by contractorsManage the bidding process and oversee contractor selectionCoordinate and manage project schedules and budgetsMonitor site operations and determine the work progressOversee engineering, procurement, and constructionTrack job progress, schedules, budgets, and staffingAssist in estimating feasibility and costs of various construction methodsProvide technical assistance to architects, engineers, contractors, and othersAssist in completing inspectionSite Engineer Responsibilities:Plan and manage civil site work, including grading, clearing, and drainage of sites, roads, and utilitiesIdentify and mitigate potential hazards of the siteManage day-to-day construction activities at the construction site, including scheduling and supervision of subcontractors, and oversight of material deliveriesRevise project plans when conditions change and work needs to be adjustedMaintain accurate records of all site-related documentation including spreadsheets, drawings, and photographsPerform cost analyses and assist in bidding and negotiation of contractsTrack project progress by documenting time in weekly time-sheetsPrepare monthly reports for cost analysis, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment inventories, and costsJob Type: Full-timeEducation:Diploma (Preferred)Work Location: In personMore information about this Site Engineer JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given Site Engineer jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this Site Engineer job position?
