Operational Specialist

Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and analytical Operations Specialist with 13 years of experience, preferably in startup environments within the manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain domains. The Operational Specialist will be a crucial link between our organization and our network of transporters carriers. This role is focused on the successful onboarding, engagement, and operational support of transporters, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and participation in our freight network. You'll be instrumental in building strong, reliable relationships and ensuring smooth operational execution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations & Process Management: - Support daily operational workflows across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions. - Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of orders, dispatches, and deliveries. 2. Transporter Engagement & Execution: - Assist in onboarding new transporters by guiding them through the registration and documentation processes, ensuring compliance with operational standards. - Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities and transporter credentials within the operational system. - Educate transporters about RFQ (Request for Quotation) opportunities and provide dedicated support to facilitate their successful participation and bid submission. - Conduct necessary field visits to build relationships with key transporters, understand their operational capabilities, and ensure alignment with our service quality standards. - Support the Customer Success team in resolving basic operational queries and ensuring high transporter engagement and retention. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and RFQ execution. 3. Continuous Improvement: - Contribute to the design and rollout of new initiatives for process standardization and efficiency enhancement. - Stay updated with operational best practices and digital tools in logistics and supply chain management. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. - 13 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics functions preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. - Exposure to ERP systems and operational data analysis. - Strong coordination, documentation, and analytical skills. Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations. - Proficiency in MS Excel - Data-driven mindset with ability to link operations to measurable outcomes. - Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. - Startup mindset with adaptability, ownership, and focus on execution.
