Job Category Engineering About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Solar Adani Solar is India s 1st and largest vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer with 4 GW cells modules and 2 GW of ingots wafers manufacturing capacities Job Purpose The Job purpose of Shift Incharge - PECVD in cell maintenance is to manage and optimize the PECVD production cluster overseeing operations coordinating schedules and driving improvements in productivity quality and safety across multiple units Responsibilities Specialization in PECVD Provide expert management of PECVD processes ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment for solar cell production Preventive Maintenance Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of PECVD machines Ensure adherence to maintenance protocols and best practices Breakdown Management Lead the response to major equipment breakdowns coordinating quick and effective repairs to minimize production disruption Analyze breakdowns to prevent future occurrences RCA Root Cause Analysis Conduct thorough root cause analysis of equipment failures and process issues Implement corrective actions based on findings to improve machine reliability and performance Spare Parts Planning Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements Collaborate with shift engineers and spare part manager to align inventory levels with operational needs Machine Uptime Focus on maximizing machine uptime by overseeing effective maintenance practices troubleshooting issues promptly and ensuring that PECVD equipment operates at peak efficiency Specialized Tools Knowledge Utilize advanced tools and software for monitoring and maintaining PECVD equipment Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in PECVD processes Team Leadership Manage and mentor the PECVD maintenance team providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation and professional development Compliance and Safety Ensure all PECVD operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols Quality Assurance Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications in PECVD operations for consistent solar cell performance Key Stakeholders - Internal Shift Engineers within the Cell Maintenance cluster Maintenance Technicians and Engineers Production Supervisors Key Stakeholders - External Equipment Suppliers Maintenance Contractors Regulatory Agencies Qualifications Educational Qualification Bachelor s or Master s degree in electrical engineering physics or related field Work Experience Range of years 8-12 Years of managerial experience in PECVD operations overseeing process development optimization and strategic planning within solar manufacturing Certification
