Job Description: Job Title: Assistant Manager-SEO Location: Chennai or Gurgaon Key Requirements: - 6-7 years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or in-house role. - Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. - Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Moz. - Experience in conducting technical SEO audits and resolving site performance issues. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate with developers. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility, drive traffic, and achieve business goals. - Conduct in-depth keyword research to inform content planning and on-page optimization. - Monitor and analyze website performance, keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush or Ahrefs. - Optimize onpage SEO elements, including meta tags, URL structure, headings, and internal linking. - Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, site speed optimization, indexation, and schema markup. - Manage link building initiatives and off-page SEO strategies. - Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and industry best practices. - Collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices. - Guide and mentor junior SEO team members when required.
