Head Of Security RMOTEAbout the Role The Head of Security will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensivesecurity strategies for the platform the users and data This leadership role requires a dynamicindividual with a strong technical background exceptional leadership skills and the ability to representthe company in public forums and with regulatory bodies while ensuring compliance Global SecurityStandards Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with businessobjectives and regulatory requirements Establish develop and lead a high-performing security team fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and innovation Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders including regulators auditors and industry partners and act as the company s spokesperson on security matters engaging with media industry groups and regulatory bodies Represent the company at conferences panels and public forums enhancing ourreputation as a security-conscious organization Security Infrastructure Design and implement robust security architectures to safeguard digital assets userdata and platform integrity Oversee the deployment of advanced threat detection and response systems ensuringproactive identification and mitigation of security risks Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks such as ISO IEC27001 2022Incident Management Compliance Lead the response to security incidents coordinating internal teams and externalpartners to minimize impact and ensure swift resolution Conduct regular security audits and assessments implementing corrective actions asnecessary Stay informed on global regulatory developments ensuring the platform s compliancewith applicable laws and standards Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and regulatory agencies tostay abreast of emerging threats and compliance requirements What We Are Looking ForEducational BackgroundBachelor s or Master s degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a relatedfield Experience15-18 years of experience in fintech or product based organization information security with at least 5 - 8 years in a leadership role within the fintech or product basedorganization Proven track record of establishing and managing security operations in a high-growth regulated environment Knowledge Areas Technical Skills Deep understanding of application and product security including secure developmentpractices vulnerability management and VPAT compliance Proven experience with endpoint security and device management laptops mobiledevices MDM EDR across a distributed workforce Strong understanding of securing cloud infrastructure including identity management network security and compliance Knows about protection measures for large-scale security threats such as DDoSmitigation fraud prevention and incident response Established and enforced security policies ensured regulatory compliance andmanaged organization-wide incident response processes Soft Skills Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with experience managingcross-functional teams Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulatecomplex security concepts to diverse audiences Experience in crisis management and incident response within a digital asset context
