Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Analystto serve as the critical bridge between our clients and development teams. The ideal candidate will excel at converting high-level epics into detailed user stories, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring clear communication of requirements to Scrum teams. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Management & Story Creation

- Convert epics into actionable user storieswith clear acceptance criteria, ensuring they are testable and deliverable within sprint cycles
- Collaborate with Product Owners todecompose complex business requirementsinto manageable development tasks
- Create detailed functional specifications, wireframes, and process flow documentation to support development teams
- Prioritize user storiesbased on business value and technical dependencies

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as primary liaison with clientsto gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to understand business needs
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specificationsthat development teams can understand
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to clients and internal stakeholders

Scrum Team Collaboration

- Explain and clarify requirements to Scrum teamsduring sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups
- Act as thetechnical bridge between Product Owners and development teams, especially when POs lack technical background
- Support sprint planning by providing clarity onrequirement complexity, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
- Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement

Process Improvement & Analysis

- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Create and maintainbusiness process modelsto illustrate current and future states
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with business objectives

Required Qualifications

Experience

- Minimum 7-8 years of experienceas a Business Analyst, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven experience inconverting epics to user storiesand working with product backlogs
- Strong background inclient-facing roleswith excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working directly withScrum teamsand participating in Agile ceremonies

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Agile/Scrum certifications(CSPO, CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred

Essential Skills

Technical Skills

- Expert knowledge of Agile methodologiesand Scrum framework
- Proficiency inrequirements gathering and analysis techniques
- Experience withuser story writingand acceptance criteria definition
- Knowledge of business process modeling tools and documentation standards
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

- Exceptional client communication skillswith ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Strong presentation and workshop facilitation abilities
- Ability totranslate complex technical concepts into business languageand vice versa
- Excellent written communication for creating clear, detailed documentation

Analytical Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Attention to detail with ability to identify process improvements
- Data analysis skillsto support evidence-based recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience insoftware development lifecycleand technical architecture understanding
- Background inquality assuranceand test case development
- Industry-specific domain knowledge relevant to our business
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working withdistributed or remote teams
