Job Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of robust costing methodologies ensuring alignment with industry best practices and evolving accounting standards IND-AS Drive process improvement initiatives leveraging techniques like QIP and Kaizen to enhance efficiency and accuracy within costing and budgeting functions Conduct comprehensive cost analysis including pre-costing activities conversion cost analysis and evaluation of capital expenditure proposals Play a key role in the physical verification of assets and inventory ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal audit requirements Champion digitization efforts within the costing and budgeting domain identifying and implementing technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance data visibility Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information provide cost insights and support decision-making processes Foster a positive and collaborative team environment contributing to a high happiness index within the Finance department Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes proactively adapting costing practices to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field Proven experience in a similar costing and budgeting role ideally within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of costing principles methodologies and relevant accounting standards IND-AS Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives and leveraging analytical tools for cost optimization Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization Proficient in using relevant software applications including ERP systems and data analysis tools A proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong commitment to accuracy compliance and continuous improvement Competencies Budgeting Analytical Mindset Driving Continuous Improvement Cost Management Working with Financial Information Critical Thinking Communicating Effectively
