Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Consultant with expertise in LabWare LIMS to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the LabWare LIMS platform across laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between technical teams, end users, and stakeholders, ensuring that the system meets business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements for LIMS workflows.
- Design and document functional specifications for LabWare LIMS configurations and customizations.
- Translate business processes into system configurations, leveraging LabWare LIMS functionalities such as templates, specifications, workflows, and reports.
- Configure and validate LabWare LIMS modules, including sample lifecycle, inventory, stability, and instrument management.
- Perform end-to-end Project Management for LIMS Upgrade project.
- Provide training, user support, and troubleshooting assistance to laboratory personnel.
- Work with development teams and system administrators to resolve technical issues and implement change requests.
- Document configuration, training materials, SOPs, and user manuals as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst working with LabWare LIMS.
- Solid understanding of laboratory workflows in a regulated environment (e.g., pharma, biotech, clinical labs).
- Experience in system configuration and process mapping within LabWare LIMS (preferably LabWare 8 or LIMS v7).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA, ISO, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and business users.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with LabWare ELN and LabWare Mobile.
- Knowledge of scripting or LIMS Basic (LabWare's proprietary language).
- Prior involvement in LIMS implementations or global rollouts.
- Understanding of integration with instruments, middleware, or enterprise systems.

Soft Skills:

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
