Job Description - Responsible for reviewing the project schedules to ensure that construction projects are completed on time. - Ensure detailed project timelines are prepared periodically by coordinating with internal stakeholders and identifying potential delays or risks. - Continuous monitoring of project progress, suggesting corrective actions where necessary. - Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently in all phases of project life cycle. - Schedule Development & Management: - Ensure that the schedule reflects project goals and deadlines by working closely with the project team. - Assist project site scheduler for preparation of baseline program in compliance with contract scope. - Ensure regular updating of baseline program and progress reporting - Monitoring & Progress Tracking: - Identify variances in actual project progress against the baseline schedule. - Identify delays, bottlenecks, generating variance report, - Verify critical path activities and explore multiple float paths. - Risk & Mitigation Planning: - Analyze potential risks to the project timeline and suggest mitigation strategies. - Work proactively to address scheduling conflicts and challenges. - Reporting & Communication: - Provide regular schedule updates and progress reports to the project manager and senior management. - Communicate any issues, delays, or changes to internal and external stakeholders. - Oversee site scheduler for preparation of extension of time (EOT) report. - Resource Alignment: - Coordinate with different departments to ensure that required resources are available and aligned with the schedule. - Schedule Optimization & Improvement: - Analyze and recommend improvements to the scheduling process and tools used, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the scheduling approach.
