IBS Engineering Senior Specialist

In This Role You Will

- Manage technical projects, create architecture designs, and supporting the build, implementation and deployment phases in key Messaging projects such as site integrations, integral functional projects or management of smtp traffic flow changes.
- Design and build infrastructure for data migration in Messaging or Collaboration systems.
- Script automation of processes using PowerShell. Level 3 Systems Administration of the Amadeus Messaging and Collaboration framework, including serving as the point of contact for significant incident escalations.
- Configuring and managing mail routing, messaging hygiene, and security configurations.
- Monitoring and managing urgent security tasks like audits, litigation holds, e-discovery, and revoking access.
- Organizing and governance of GAD integration procedures.
- Providing Technical Documentation.
- Proactively participating in the Amadeus Change Management processes
- Participate and actively propose solutions based on cloud technology.

Knowledge and hands-on experience in the above areas is necessary. The person should be willing to learn, be interested and passionate about collaboration.

You will have to follow SDLC Process and Change management is followed for Production Environments. Duties will require maintaining processes, operational & technical documentation (designs, deployment guides, operational guides & training material preparations).

About the ideal candidate

- University degree in computer science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience administering Exchange, SharePoint and hands-on with M365 corporate collaboration environments.

Primary skills

- M365 Application Stack experience

- Exchange Online, Exchange hybrid designs

- Messaging Hygiene and Security designs

- Mail and SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive migration architectures

- Microsoft Active Directory, routing protocols, DNS, Certificates (request & renewal)

- M365 application management: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, MS Teams, Viva tools, Copilot, integrations

- Scripting

- PowerShell (must have)

- Migrations

- Hands on experience with at least one tool (ShareGate / AvePoint / Metalogix)

- Tenant to tenant migrations concepts.

Secondary skills

- Azure stack

- Azure tenant setup, Creation of subscriptions, resource management

- Azure components/services

- PaaS services (Azure functions, App Services, exchange components, etc.)

- Monitoring

- Proactively set up and utilize Amadeus tools to monitor sites & apps.

- Performance monitoring & vulnerability assessments

- Additional Skills

- Handling basic SQL Administration tasks

- Load Balancing & clusters concepts.

Business skills

- Fluent business English with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Quality processes & best practices for maintaining information security.
- Can handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly.
- Competences of Technical writing, documentation and able to translate technical jargon into layman's terms for explanatory purposes.
- Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently.
- Manages time efficiently and multi-tasks effectively.
- Ability to learn & adapt quickly to remedy system downs or serious software problems.

Strong communication skills and good cooperation and coordination with a global team across different time zones.
