Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Exadata Technical Lead to oversee the architecture deployment performance and availability of Oracle databases running on Oracle Exadata 19c The ideal candidate will lead a team of DBAs provide expert-level support and performance tuning and ensure the optimal utilization of Exadata engineered systems across production and non-production environments Start date ASAP Duration 6 months to be extended Work location India - Bangalore Could be based at the client s offices in the UAE Travel No Must be a citizen of a certain country No Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI and Exadata Cloud Customer or X9M X10M platforms Experience in containerized databases autonomous health framework AHF and fleet patching maintenance Understanding of GoldenGate ZDLRA DBFS and ACFS Automation using shell scripting Python or Ansible Oracle Certified Professional OCP or Exadata Specialist Certification preferred Required skills Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science Engineering or a related field 8 years of Oracle DBA experience with at least 3 years on Oracle Exadata platforms Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c multitenant architecture preferred Oracle Exadata administration cell nodes compute nodes Infiniband RoCE Oracle RAC ASM Clusterware CRS and Grid Infrastructure Data Guard Physical Active Flashback RMAN OEM Cloud Control DBMS STATS SQL tuning tools Strong knowledge of patching strategy for Exadata GI DB and storage servers dbnodeupdate sh patchmgr dcli Familiarity with ExaCLI dcli cellcli and ILOM Proven skills in troubleshooting performance tuning and root cause analysis Soft Skills Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Effective leadership team coordination and mentoring abilities Clear written and verbal communication capable of presenting to senior stakeholders Proactive detail-oriented and highly organized Willing to work in 24x7 support model and lead production issue triage calls Powered by JazzHR
