Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Proposal Writer who will be responsible for leading the creation, structuring, and delivery of high-quality proposals, RFP responses, SOWs, and related client-facing documentation. This role collaborates closely with internal teamsincluding Sales, Marketing, Technical SMEs, Content, and Development to gather accurate inputs and convert complex technical, business, and operational information into clear, compelling, and client-aligned narratives. The Proposal Writer ensures all submissions are compliant with requirements, strategically positioned, and professionally formatted, while maintaining consistency with organizational standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting business growth by producing well-crafted proposals that effectively communicate value, demonstrate capability, and enhance the company's competitive positioning. Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes - End-to-end creation of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, capability documents, and client submissions. - Analyze client requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria to develop accurate, compliant, and compelling proposal content. - Draft, edit, format, and refine proposal sections such as Executive Summaries, Scope of Work, Methodology, Technical Descriptions, Compliance Matrices, Pricing Notes, and Annexures. - Work closely with internal technical teams, SMEs, delivery heads, to collect required inputs. - Coordinate with Sales, Marketing teams to ensure proposals align with client expectations and organizational positioning. - Liaise with design team to ensure proposal branding and presentation quality. - Ensure all proposal responses meet organizational standards, compliance requirements, and client-specified formats. - Validate accuracy of technical content, service models, SLAs, project timelines, and pricing assumptions. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and internal information in all proposal documents. - Manage proposal submission timelines, review cycles. - Ensure on-time delivery of complete, error-free proposals under tight deadlines. - Maintain an updated repository of proposal templates, case studies, resumes, service descriptions. - Continuously improve proposal language, structure, based on feedback and win/loss analysis. Key Skills - Mastery of the English language. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar abilities, with the skill to distill complex ideas into clear, concise explanations. - Proficient in identifying and clarifying proposal concepts by analyzing RFPs. - Ability to meet deadlines by effectively prioritizing tasks and setting target dates. - Strong judgment and decision-making skills, capable of escalating or independently resolving issues as needed. - Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to changing requirements. - Ability to effectively engage with senior technical staff and upper management to gather necessary information. - Proficient in the MS Office suite.
