Job Description

- Process description:The candidate would lead teams aligned with Global Insurance Players and enable extended operations from offshore.The team provides MIS, Data Analysis, Business Insights, and Interpretation of data which impacts the business performance positively
- Role Purpose:Owns delivery of MIS reports and ProjectsEnsures delivery is managed independently, able to communicate effectively with the business stakeholders and manage expectations. Extraction, Manipulation of data to create meaningful reports on a periodic basis using Excel, VBA, MS Access, Business Objects and Other BI tools likeQlik Sense/Qlik View/Power BIQlik
- Experience in data management using QVDPower BI Solid experience working on DAX functions.
- Able to contribute ideas of process improvements and take lead and ownership to deliverTo deliver a strong service within an environment that adopts and embraces a performance management system to support the businesses operations and Continuous Improvement
- Effectively manage change requests and liaise with customers to gather requirements
- Effectively prioritises demand in liaison with customer representatives.
- Adopts a methodical framework to estimate timelines and resources required for new demand, presents it to the client and gets client buy in.
- Plays a vital role in issue resolution and root cause analysis and ensures necessary steps are taken as future preventive measures.
- Ensures quality assurance and control over quality delivery on an ongoing basis Client/CustomerRelationship Management:Interacts with client operating management and ensures customer delight through timely management of client expectations Periodically reviews metrics with customer Interfaces with customer to address escalated concerns.
- Work with customer groups (in association with onsite team) to develop knowledge and understanding of performance measures and data interpretation.
- Work collaboratively across internal functional teams to meet customer requirements in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Support customer visits with presentations and use cases
- Deliverables & Tasks:Developing Qliksense/Power BI dashboards by writing complex scripts and using niche reporting techniques Extraction, Manipulation of data to create meaningful reports on a periodic basis using Qliksense/Power BI.
- Fair understanding of data models and QVDsAdhere to TAT and SLAPerform ad-hoc analysis & handle projects and ensure timely and accurate delivery of the sameGuide junior resources in the team when required.
- Thoughtful implementation ofQliksense/Power BIbest practices by delivering Qliksense solutions to the users Creating and maintaining the technical documentation.
- Interacting with key stakeholders based out of client site for scoping initial requirements and refining them as the project progresses.
- Work closely with the internal & external Customers/stakeholders on ad-hoc work and understand the business requirements and build MI to requirements
- Manage and manipulate data for ETLAutomation of new/existing reports.
- Ability to perform data quality checks in a methodical manner to understand how to accurately utilize client data.
- Independently resolve queries/issues associated with a project
- Develop detailed documentation to ensure accurate execution of reports/projects.
