Job Description Head Talent Management Location: Chennai Reports to: Chief HR Officer (CHRO) Organization: Indbank Global Support Services Limited Overview We are seeking a transformational Head Talent Management to architect Indbank's end-to-end talent strategy and strengthen our human capital framework across the BFSI domain. The role demands a seasoned HR leader with deep exposure to the financial services ecosystem who can align people strategy with business growth, digital transformation, and compliance-driven excellence. This leader will design and implement forward-looking talent programs covering workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and engagement. By leveraging analytics, technology, and inclusion, the role will build a sustainable talent pipeline that fuels Indbank's growth in the financial services landscape. Role Summary The Head of Talent Management acts as a strategic partner to business and senior leadership, driving talent excellence across the organisation. The incumbent will spearhead initiatives that optimise workforce performance, elevate leadership capability, and institutionalise a culture of meritocracy, inclusion, and innovation all within the regulatory and risk governance frameworks critical to BFSI operations. Core Responsibilities Strategic Talent Architecture & Culture Leadership - Design and execute BFSI-aligned HR policies that strengthen recruitment, onboarding, and performance frameworks with a focus on regulatory compliance and ethical governance. - Lead RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) implementation for HR processes to ensure end-to-end policy compliance and risk mitigation. - Develop recognition & reward frameworks that reinforce compliance-driven performance and promote a culture of ownership and innovation. Performance, Capability & Leadership Development - Drive performance management built on measurable goals, continuous feedback, and digital tools that link performance to organisational outcomes. - Implement succession planning for key business-critical and regulatory roles, ensuring leadership continuity and bench strength. - Develop leadership development journeys and functional academies for BFSI-specific skills, fostering a high-potential talent pipeline. Workforce Analytics, Engagement & Retention - Introduce data-led engagement dashboards integrating attrition, performance, and satisfaction analytics for actionable insights. - Conduct quarterly talent engagement & inclusion surveys to evaluate culture health and design retention interventions. - Achieve strategic retention targets by deploying customised career progression and learning frameworks for mission-critical roles. Operational & Digital HR Excellence - Oversee the deployment of HRMS platforms (Zoho/Oracle/Workday) to drive efficiency, transparency, and a seamless employee lifecycle experience. - Define and monitor HR KPIs and SLAs, ensuring timely closure of recruitment, onboarding, and employee life-cycle processes. - Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Business for quarterly HR performance reviews, linking HR outcomes to business metrics. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Stewardship - Champion DEI initiatives tailored to BFSI workforce diversity, ensuring fair representation and equitable growth. - Lead awareness and inclusion dialogues, celebrating organisational values and milestones that strengthen belonging and cultural cohesion. Qualifications - Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration - 15+ years of HR leadership experience in the financial services sector (BFSI), with proven results in talent management, organisational development, and HR transformation. - Deep understanding of BFSI compliance, manpower risk controls, and talent governance frameworks. - Strong exposure to HR analytics, policy design, leadership development, and digital HR solutions.
