Date Posted 2025-02-17 Country India Location Unit 2A 2B Octave Block 6th floor Parcel - 4 Salarpuria Sattva - Knowledge City Madhapur Hyderabad Telangana India Zip Postal Code 500081 Job Title Sr Technical Specialist Planview Experience 14-16 Years Role Overview As a Sr Technical Specialist Planview you will design develops and maintains business intelligence solutions including data analytics platforms and reporting tools for portfolio health monitoring and control in partnership as part of Portfolio Management Team You will play pivotal role in turning raw data into meaningful insights using data analytics platforms reporting tools and visualization techniques to help organizations make informed decisions Join us to contribute to our quest for improved outcomes and strategic growth through the power of data-driven insights On a typical day you will Serve as the primary technical lead for the implementation of the Planview Product focusing on an end-to-end solution that captures costs and impacts across various functions Understand and translate business requirements into Planview implementation Manage troubleshooting and make any necessary post-go-live configuration changes and enhancements for Release 1 of Planview Portfolios Lead the solution design sandbox testing and User Acceptance Testing UAT activities for Release 2 of Planview AgilePlace This includes integrations with Jira and Azure DevOps ADO Objectives and Key Results OKR capabilities and other strategic functions of the tool for annual planning investment and capacity planning Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance throughout the process Oversee Planview Administrators and any Level 1 to Level 3 support teams and contractors providing coaching as needed Assess risks and requirements for both near-term and long-term support Understand promote and make recommendations for the ongoing governance of the tool with a special focus on global setting decisions user access and proper management of change logs Provide guidance on custom reporting and dashboards to meet the needs of key stakeholders including engineering Project Management Office PMO product teams quality assurance and sales and marketing Ensure alignment with the Planview Project Lead on change management and training activities What You Will Need to be Successful Overall experience of 14 to 16 years with 3 years of Hands-on experience in Planview Power BI tool Hands-on Planview Portfolio Management Tool Deep experience in developing Power BI reports Dashboards and Data Modules Datasets Must have complete understanding of Power BI Life Cycle Architecture Migration of Cognos reports to Power BI reportsd Hands-on experience on SQL queries SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS and SQL Server Integration SSI services Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing Methodologies and Dimensional Modelling like Star Schema and Snowflake Schema Ability to Implement DAX functions in modelling designing stage Familiarity with Issue management tools like JIRA ADO etc for organizing the development work Degree in Engineering Master of Computer Applications EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Overall experience of 14 to 16 years with 3 years of Hands-on experience in Planview Power BI tool If you live in a city chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day Otis is the worlds leading elevator and escalator manufacturing installation and service company We move 2 billion people every day and maintain approximately 2 2 million customer units worldwide the industry
