We are Datum Advanced Composites Private Limited a rapidly growing fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP)

composite manufacturing business from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. At Datum, we design, develop, and

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Datum, we cater to a diverse customer base. You will get an opportunity to work on a wide variety of

solutions ranging from unmanned platforms, aerospace and defence systems, marine structures,

automotive parts, energy systems, smart prosthetics to robotics. You will be a part of Business Support

job family in our Advanced Manufacturing Facility at 523, Ratanpur, Panki, Kanpur 208020, Uttar

Pradesh, India. The role is Full Time and Permanent.

As a Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our company&aposs growth by

acquiring and managing our most valuable asset - Our People. You will be responsible for handling all

aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to career development

and resource management. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement

HR strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a positive and engaging work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate shall be responsible for performing the following activities:

HR Strategy Development & Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with the companys business

objectives and growth plans. Provide expert guidance and support to leadership in shaping the

companys workforce strategy and future talent needs.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

Lead the development and execution of advanced recruitment strategies to attract top talent

across diverse functions. Oversee the entire hiring process, ensuring a robust pipeline of

candidates and optimal staffing levels to meet business demands.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building:

Champion employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive work environment, high

morale, and a culture of excellence. Provide leadership in creating an inclusive workplace that

attracts and retains a diverse workforce.

Leadership Development & Succession Planning:

Design and implement leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders

within the organization. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure effective succession

planning and talent management.

Performance Management & Organizational Development:

Lead the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and

fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement. Identify and implement

organizational development initiatives to improve overall performance and employee

productivity.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Management:

Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits structures to

attract and retain top talent. Ensure timely and accurate payroll administration, working closely

with finance.

HR Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards. Lead

HR audits, manage labor relations, and mitigate HR-related risks to safeguard the company from

potential legal and compliance issues.

Training & Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills

and organizational capability. Foster an environment of continuous learning and career

development to support long-term organizational success.

Executive Coaching & Employee Relations:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing coaching and guidance on complex

employee relations issues. Manage sensitive employee matters, ensuring that all concerns are

handled with discretion, fairness, and transparency.

HR Technology & Innovation:

Lead the adoption and optimization of HR technology, such as HRIS systems, to streamline HR

processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve employee experience.

Your role as a Human Resource Manager is critical to the businesss success. You will ensure competent

talent is acquired, human resource managed, and employee expectations are met, and HR issues resolved.

KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate shall demonstrate the following attributes:

Essential

Bachelor&aposs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.

Proven expertise in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business goals.

In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations, with experience in

manufacturing or technical industries.

Strong leadership and change management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate

with senior leadership teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Advanced proficiency in HR software, HRIS, and data analytics tools.

Desirable

Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly preferred.

Experience in high-growth, technical industries (e.g., composites manufacturing, aerospace, or

robotics).

Deep knowledge of payroll and benefits systems.

Proven track record in leading HR transformations and process improvements.
