This Position reports to: Global Head of FP&A, Robotics Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will act as the primary Finance Business Partner for the Real Estate function, ensuring transparency, discipline, and optimization of all real estaterelated financials. You will oversee cost and project controlling for real estate assets, leases, facilities, and cross-charges while providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Head of Functional Cost Controlling and the Real Estate Manager, you will enable accurate planning, strong performance monitoring, and effective financial governance across the Robotics organization. The work model for the role is: hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: - Real Estate Financial Controlling: Manage budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and reporting of real estate costsincluding leases, facilities, services, utilities, depreciation, maintenance, and cross-charges. - Decision Support: Analyze financial implications of real estate decisions (e.g., lease renewals, space rationalization, relocations) and recommend cost-optimized solutions. - Performance Monitoring: Define and track Real Estate KPIs (cost per m, occupancy, utilization, lease commitments) and identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities. - Data, Processes & Controls: Ensure reliable processes, tools, and controls for capturing, validating, and reporting real estate data in alignment with closing schedules and standards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Real Estate leadership, FP&A, Accounting, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, drive efficiencies, and support operational improvements. Qualifications for the role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or financial business partnering; experience with real estate or functional cost controlling is a plus. - Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and project controlling processes. - Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. - Solid knowledge of financial systems, SAP (or equivalent ERP), and strong Excel/analysis skills. - Experience working with KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring frameworks. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate in a matrix environment. - High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
