Job Title Dispatch Manager Location Erode Reports To Manager- Operations Job Summary The Dispatch Manager will oversee the dispatch operations ensuring timely and efficient delivery of petticoats and Nighties This role involves coordinating with various departments managing dispatch schedules and maintaining high standards of customer service The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead a team effectively Key Responsibilities Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of goods to ensure timely delivery Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to align dispatch activities with production schedules Monitor and manage dispatch budgets implementing cost control measures Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations Supervise and evaluate the performance of dispatch personnel Develop and implement dispatch policies and procedures Resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch process Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and prepare reports for management Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status and handle any complaints or issues Continuously assess and improve dispatch operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction Qualifications Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics management preferably in the textile or garment industry Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in logistics software and technology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills Experience with inventory management systems Knowledge of lean logistics principles Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in the textile industry
