Location: SP TECHPIONEER bhosari, pune, 411026 Department: Projects / Manufacturing Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 0 to 1 Year (Freshers Welcome) Role Overview The Mechanical Project Engineer will assist in the execution of mechanical projects involving manufacturing, assembly, and testing. This is an entry-level role focused on learning project management practices, shop-floor execution, and coordination with internal teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities- Project Execution Support - Assist in planning and execution of mechanical projects - Support senior engineers in tracking project schedules and milestones - Prepare basic project reports and documentation - Coordinate with internal teams for day-to-day project activities Manufacturing & Shop-Floor Support - Assist in supervising manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly activities - Ensure drawings and specifications are followed during production - Support machine assembly, testing, and trial runs - Help in identifying and resolving basic shop-floor issues Design & Documentation - Understand and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs - Assist in minor design changes as guided by senior engineers - Maintain project documentation, checklists, and records Vendor & Material Coordination - Support follow-up with vendors for bought-out items - Assist in material receipt checks and documentation - Coordinate internally for material availability Quality & Safety - Assist in ensuring quality standards during manufacturing - Follow safety guidelines on the shop floor Skills Required - Basic knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes - Ability to read mechanical drawings - Willingness to work on shop floor and project sites - Good communication and coordination skills - Eagerness to learn and take responsibility Preferred Skills - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo - Exposure to internships or academic projects in manufacturing - Interest in automation, robotics, or special purpose machines
