Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Sr. Manager, Operations for its External Channels team. You will be accountable for managing a team owning seller operations centrally pan-India. Additionally, you will lead Amazon Shippings&apos first mile operations. You will support >150k sellers across - Seller flex, Vendor flex, Direct fulfilment, Stores, Warehouse Integrations, Easy ship and Bazaar. You will lead senior stakeholder relationships across business and ops teams. You will lead programs such as seller launches, product launches, cost optimisation, peak scale-up, co-own Annual Operating Plans (OP1/OP2/3YF). You lead a team of Operations and Program Managers to own such initiatives. You will closely collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Middle Mile Transportation and Last mile. You and your team will directly interact with sellers and will need to ensure high bar communication and responsiveness to uphold Amazon&aposs reputation externally. You will need to have a strong understanding of on-ground operations in seller ecosystem, AMZL, AMXL and 3P network. You will play a vital role in maintaining a vibrant team culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning, and fun. You are process-driven, comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, detail-oriented, able to think outside the box, analyse metrics and implement solutions

Key job responsibilities

- Own end to end seller operations and performance metrics through a central team. Influence seller level policies to drive performance at scale.
- You will need to be proficient with case management tools, capacity management tools like TRB/TCAP and be comfortable in leveraging disruptive tech such as GenAI, LLM and ML
- Collaborate with Tech/Product teams to co-own the product roadmap.
- Communicate with other leaders across the network to solicit and share process improvements, drive efficiencies and cost savings
- Monitor key program metrics and work with stakeholder teams to drive necessary actions.
- Incubate and scale innovative solutions, pilot programs and technology enablers to drive business impact
- Mentor and partner in development and growth of your team

This role will require exceptional communication and influencing skills, and will work to influence stakeholders across Sellers, Retail Business, Operations, and Product teams. This role will require the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, startup environment, partnering with others as needed. The successful candidate has demonstrated the ability to solve complex logistics challenges and possesses bias for action and deliver results in the role.

About The Team

The team manages External fulfilment channels for Amazon India. The team is responsible for seller performance, cost, quality and speed metrics. The team is structured regionally as well has a central team of Program Managers who drive programs.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of team management experience
- MBA
- 5+ years of Operations, Program or project management experience

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
