This role sits at the heart of our growth engine. About the Role You’ll lead the full sales cycle for inbound prospects—founders, CEOs, COOs, CTOs, HR/Finance leaders—who discover Wisemonk through SEO, content, referrals, or direct outreach. Your job is simple: educate them, build trust fast, diagnose their India-hiring needs, and convert them into paying customers. You’ll own pipeline from discovery to close, and make sure no opportunity leaks. This is a high-energy, high-ownership role suited for someone who wants to operate like a mini-founder inside the sales function. Responsibilities - Take ownership of all inbound leads across global time zones. - Educate prospects clearly about India hiring, EOR, payroll, compliance, recruiting, and local talent landscape. - Diagnose their hiring needs, gaps, and constraints. - Run expert, high-clarity discovery calls—no fluff, real value. - Build strong rapport and trust with founders, HR & Finance heads. - Create and manage a clean, high-velocity sales pipeline in HubSpot. - Close deals with precision—track blockers, follow-up aggressively, and get decisions. - Document conversations, solutions, and implementation notes cleanly. - Create sharp, simple content when required (FAQs, small decks, Looms, summaries). - Collaborate with product, delivery, recruiting, and finance to ensure smooth handoff. - Bring back insights to improve sales materials, pricing clarity, and ROI messaging. - Handle high complexity: India labor law, entity questions, benefits, compliance differences, GTM models, cross-border tax basics. Requirements - 1–3 years in a sales, business development, or account executive role. - Exceptional communication—clear, confident, educational, founder-friendly. - Strong sales instincts: qualification, timeline pressure, objection handling. - High energy and bias for action—moves fast, follows up relentlessly. - Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable wearing multiple hats and creating clarity. - Tech-oriented—comfortable with tools, CRMs, documentation, async content. - High-level problem-solving; ability to simplify complex topics. - Proven ability to manage pipeline independently and hit closing targets. - Strong documentation habits (summaries, proposals, follow-up notes). - Comfortable talking about compliance, legal basics, payroll concepts (you’ll learn fast). Nice to Have - Experience in EOR, HRTech, payroll, recruiting, SaaS, or B2B services. - Prior experience selling to founders or senior functional heads. - Experience handling multi-country or cross-border complexity. - Strong writing skills—short-form and long-form.
