Responsibilities:

- Own It Like a Boss: Lead and manage design projects across product teams, delivering impactful solutions that solve customer problems and drive business metrics. Define new feature assignments independently and take charge of the design delivery across groups.
- Visionary Collaborator: Drive the product vision in collaboration with group leads, ensuring that design efforts align with the overall business strategy. Lead design within short-staffed product teams and manage complex projects mostly autonomously.
- Inspire and Engage: Engage and inspire other designers to connect with the community and contribute to the Design System. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strategic Leader: Major contributor to team roadmaps, defining new feature assignments for team members without requiring help. Lead the coordination and management of campaigns when creating new features and products.
- Decision Maker: Independently make decisions affecting customer value/impact for complex topics within a product/feature set. Lead cross-product, cross-feature, and cross-team discussions, bringing stakeholders to a decision point.
- Authority and Influence: Recognized by colleagues and the community as a design authority. Frequently sought out by product and engineering leads for opinions on both product and design direction. Co-lead teams with Product Managers and Engineering Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration.

- Design Savvy: Expert in product thinking, interaction design, and execution & craft. Your designs are innovative and set new standards.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying design concepts compellingly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable representing the design team in high-stakes meetings.
- Mentorship Enthusiast: Passionate about mentoring and helping team members grow. Dedicated to fostering a collaborative and inclusive design culture.
